The Value Formula

value-formula
// The core economic formula
Final_Value = floor( Base_Price ร— Weightยฒ ร— MutationMult ร— Ripening ร— Color )
// Weightยฒ = (inputWeight / baseWeight)ยฒ โ€” 2ร— weight = 4ร— value!
// MutationMult = ฮฃ(mult_i) + 1 โˆ’ n (n=mutations; NOT purely additive!)
// Ripening = 1.0โ€“1.9 (Unripe) | 2.0โ€“2.9 (Ripened) | 3.0 (Lush)
// Color = ร—1 (None) | ร—2 (Silver) | ร—5 (Gold)
// โš ๏ธ Ripening ร— Color are MULTIPLICATIVE โ€” Gold Lush = 3 ร— 5 = 15ร— (NOT 3+5=8)
// Example: Shocked + Starstruck, Lush Carrot (at base weight)
floor(30 ร— 1 ร— 10 ร— 3 ร— 1) = 900 Shillings
// Example: Gold Lush Shocked Carrot (at base weight)
floor(30 ร— 1 ร— 4.5 ร— 3 ร— 5) = 2,025 Shillings

Gamepasses

Four gamepasses were added in the v1.2.0 Console Update (March 7, 2026). These are permanent one-time purchases that provide passive bonuses to your farming. Sorted by value below โ€” cheapest first.

4 gamepasses available249 โ€” 499 Robux eachPermanent โ€” buy once, keep forever
Fertile Soil
249Robux

Fertile Soil

Best Value#1 Recommended

20% faster growth times on all plants

Most impactful for active players โ€” reduces time to Lush on every single plant. Saves hours per day.

Harvest Hand
349Robux

Harvest Hand

Great Pick

10% chance to harvest double crops

Excellent for multi-harvest trees like Cherry and Mango. Over hundreds of harvests, the 10% adds up significantly.

Botanist's Blessing
399Robux

Botanist's Blessing

Solid

20% cheaper appraisals + higher mutation chance

Best for mutation hunters. Cheaper appraisals save Shillings long-term, and higher mutation chance means more rare mutations.

Gear Mastery
499Robux

Gear Mastery

Niche

10% chance gear is not consumed on use

Most expensive and situational. Only saves gear โ€” useful if you burn through Watering Cans and Sprinklers fast.

๐Ÿ’ก

Which Gamepass Should You Buy First?

Fertile Soil (249 R$) is the clear #1 โ€” it speeds up every single plant by 20%. That's ~12 minutes saved per hour of Lush farming. It's also the cheapest gamepass.

Harvest Hand (349 R$) is #2 if you farm multi-harvest trees like Cherry, Mango, or Bamboo. A 10% double harvest chance means roughly 1 extra fruit every 10 harvests โ€” compounding over time.

Botanist's Blessing (399 R$) is for mutation grinders. If you want to complete Maya's IGMA research faster, the higher mutation chance is very valuable.

Gear Mastery (499 R$) is the most niche โ€” only useful if you consistently burn through Watering Cans and sprinklers. Buy last, if at all.

Daily Rewards

Log in every day to claim free rewards! The Daily Rewards system gives you escalating prizes over a 14-day cycle (2 weeks). After completing all 14 days, the cycle resets and you can earn them again. Missing a day resets your streak.

Week 1 โ€” Days 1โ€“7

Week 2 โ€” Days 8โ€“14 โญ

๐Ÿ“…

Daily Rewards Tips

  • โ–ธLog in every day โ€” missing a day resets your streak back to Day 1
  • โ–ธWeek 2 has special rewards โ€” seeds like Apple, Wheat, Banana, Plum and gear like Basic Sprinkler
  • โ–ธDay 14 is the mega prize โ€” 10 Streak Seed Packs with chances at exclusive plants like Bluerose
  • โ–ธAfter Day 14, the cycle resets automatically โ€” keep your streak going!

Ripening Stages

All plants start as Unripe and ripen over time to higher value stages. Since v1.2.0, ripening progresses both online and offline โ€“ your plants ripen even when you are logged out.

๐ŸŒฑ

Unripe

1ร— multiplier

Just harvested โ€“ 1.0ร— base (grows continuously to 1.9ร—)

๐ŸŒฟ

Ripened

2ร— multiplier

2.0ร— base, grows to 2.9ร— (2.4ร— grow time required). Since v1.2.0, ripening also progresses offline.

Requires 2.4ร— base grow time online

๐ŸŒณ

Lush

3ร— multiplier

3.0ร— max multiplier (7.2ร— base grow time required). Slowest crops: Dawn Blossom, Olive, Cherry, Cabbage.

Requires 7.2ร— base grow time online

โš ๏ธ Since v1.2.0 (Console Update), ripening now progresses while you are offline. Previously, ripening (Unripe โ†’ Ripened โ†’ Lush) only advanced while online โ€” this is no longer the case. Plants grow from seed to tree offline, fruit appears offline, AND ripening stages advance offline. Sprinklers still do NOT speed up ripening โ€” they only affect growth and fruit size.

Color Variants

Color variants are multiplicative with ripening โ€” they multiply, not add. A Gold Lush plant has Ripening ร— Color = 3 ร— 5 = 15ร— (not 3+5=8).

Synced With

Bill's Seed Restock

Weather changes = seeds restock simultaneously

Mutation Stacking Rules

  • +Mutation formula: ฮฃ+1โˆ’n โ€“ Shocked (4.5ร—) + Starstruck (6.5ร—) = 4.5+6.5+1โˆ’2 = 10ร—
  • ร—Variants are MULTIPLICATIVE โ€“ 10ร— mutations ร— 3 (Lush) = 30ร— final multiplier
  • โˆ‘Each plant rolls mutations independently โ€“ more plants = more chances

Plant Cap & Probability

The plant capacity has been increased to 300 plants. Each plant has its own independent mutation timer. Filling to Plant Cap maximises mutation chances โ€“ more plants = more independent dice rolls.

Online vs Offline Growth

๐ŸŽ‰

v1.2.0 Update โ€” Offline Ripening!

As of the Console Update (v1.2.0, March 7 2026), ripening now progresses while you are offline! Previously, ripening (Unripe โ†’ Ripened โ†’ Lush) only advanced while online โ€” this restriction has been removed.

๐ŸŒ

Works Offline

  • โœ“Seed โ†’ tree growth (plant keeps growing)
  • โœ“New fruit appears on multi-harvest plants
  • โœ“Sprinkler size boost applies
  • โœ“Ripening (Unripe โ†’ Ripened โ†’ Lush) โ€” new in v1.2.0!
๐ŸŽฎ

Online Only

  • !Mutation rolls during weather events
  • !Selling crops / interacting with NPCs
  • !Friend Shilling bonus (requires both online)
โฐ

Ripening Time Examples

These are the total times from planted to Lush (now works offline too!):

  • CarrotCarrot / Corn / Strawberry โ€” fast, low Lush cooldown
  • CherryCherry โ€” ~18 hours of online play to reach Lush
  • CabbageCabbage โ€” one of the slowest single-harvest crops
  • Dawn BlossomDawn Blossom โ€” 30-40 min online from Ripened โ†’ Lush
  • OliveOlive โ€” very long ripening (works offline since v1.2.0)

Shilling Leaderboard

Garden Horizons features a Shilling Leaderboard that tracks lifetime earnings across all players. The leaderboard is displayed in-game and provides a competitive element for dedicated farmers.

LeaderboardTracks
๐Ÿ’ฐ Total EarnedShillings accumulated lifetime
โฑ๏ธ PlaytimeTotal time in-game
๐ŸŒฑ Plants PlantedTotal seeds planted
๐ŸŒพ Plants HarvestedTotal plants harvested
๐ŸŒพ Total LikesGarden likes given to other players (Console Update)
๐Ÿ†

Leaderboard Strategy

The Total Earned leaderboard is cumulative โ€” selling even cheap crops counts toward your total. High-volume strategies (planting 300 crops and selling at Lush) climb the leaderboard fastest. The leaderboard was improved in v1.0.7 for better reliability during high traffic.

โค๏ธ Garden Likes & Snapshot

Like Other Players' Gardens

Added in the Console Update (March 7, 2026), you can now walk up to another player's garden and give it a like. This is a social feature that encourages exploring the map on foot rather than teleporting everywhere. Likes are tracked in your Photo Book โ†’ Stats โ†’ Total Likes section, and there is a leaderboard for likes given out.

How to Like

Walk to another player's garden and click the Like button. You must physically visit โ€” no teleport liking.

Garden Snapshot

Every time you join the game, a before-and-after flash shows your garden's progress since your last session.

๐Ÿšถ

Likes Earn Rewards

Reaching certain amounts of likes earns rewards! Unlike playtime or harvest stats, you can't AFK your way to the top of the Total Likes leaderboard โ€” you have to actively walk around and like gardens. This makes it one of the hardest leaderboards to climb.

Friend Shilling Bonus

๐Ÿ‘ฅ

Earn More with Friends

When friends are in the same server, you receive a Shilling bonus on all sales. The more friends online together, the higher the bonus percentage. This stacks with mutations, variants, and all other multipliers.

๐Ÿ’ก

How Friend Bonus Works

The friend bonus applies automatically when Roblox friends are in the same game server. You can also buy Grow All on a friend's plot (added in v1.0.1). Visit friends' gardens to help them grow โ€” the social features are PVE-only, no stealing or griefing possible.

๐Ÿ’ฆ Sprinkler Stacking & Strategy

Sprinklers increase fruit size and growth speed โ€” but their stacking rules are not obvious. Community testing has confirmed exactly how they interact:

โœ…

Different Types Stack

Basic Sprinkler + Turbo Sprinkler + Super Sprinkler all active in range = maximum fruit size boost. This is the optimal setup โ€” one of each type produces the heaviest possible fruit.

โŒ

Same Type Does NOT Stack

Two Basic Sprinklers give the same effect as one. Community tested with Onion: 1ร— each type โ†’ max 0.56 kg; 3ร— each type โ†’ max 0.40 kg. No benefit โ€” save your sprinklers.

Optimal Sprinkler Setup

Basic Sprinkler

Basic

Turbo Sprinkler

Super Sprinkler

Place all three in overlapping range โ†’ plant crops inside โ†’ maximum size boost

Key Sprinkler Combos

โšก

Sprinklers + Grow All

Using Grow All while stacked sprinklers are active makes plants instantly massive. Community tested on Wheat: the size difference is dramatic โ€” "look at the size of that wheat". Plant as many crops as possible within sprinkler range before activating Grow All for maximum effect.

๐Ÿ””

Sprinklers + Harvesting Bell (Tree Farming)

The best money-making strategy for multi-harvest trees (Cherry, Plum, Dawn Blossom): place stacked sprinklers near trees โ†’ use Harvesting Bell to collect all fruit at once โ†’ fruit regrows with the sprinkler size boost โ†’ harvest again at peak weight. Each regrow cycle produces heavier fruit than the last until sprinklers expire.

โญ

Sprinklers + Favoriting Tool

When planting high-value crops tightly around sprinklers (e.g. Cabbage), use the Favoriting Tool before the cluster becomes too dense. In tight groups, click targeting can be unreliable and you may waste Favoriting Tools on the wrong plant.

๐Ÿ’ฐ

Community-Tested Cabbage Results

Using stacked sprinklers (Basic + Turbo + Super) on Cabbage:

  • โ–ธSmall Cabbage with mutations โ†’ sold for 784,000 ๐Ÿ’ฐ (seed cost: ~150k)
  • โ–ธ1.54 kg Cabbage with mutations โ†’ sold for 3,600,000 ๐Ÿ’ฐ
  • ๐Ÿ’กSize matters enormously โ€” the value formula scales quadratically with weight

Variant Farming Method (Silver & Gold)

The most profitable late-game farming strategy. Uses multi-harvest plants + sprinklers + Shovel to force-farm Silver and Gold variant fruits for maximum sell value. Community-tested primarily on Potato โ€” works on any multi-harvest plant.

1
Potato

Plant & Sprinkler Setup

Plant multi-harvest crops in a tight cluster. Place all three sprinklers (Basic + Turbo + Super) in overlapping range. Use Grow All to speed up initial growth.

2
Harvesting Bell

Harvest Everything

Collect all fruit from the plants. With Potato, everything is on the ground โ€” easy to see and click. For trees (Cherry, Plum), use a Harvesting Bell instead.

3

Delete Non-Silver/Gold Fruit

Use the Shovel to destroy every regrown fruit that is NOT Silver or Gold. Fruit regrows after ~10 seconds (nerfed from instant) with the sprinkler size boost still active.

4
Super Sprinkler

Repeat for 10-15 Minutes

Keep destroying non-variant fruit and letting it regrow. The Super Sprinkler lasts 15 minutes โ€” use the entire window. End result: a garden full of oversized Silver and Gold fruits.

5
Potato

Wait for Mutations & Sell

Stay online to collect weather mutations on your Silver/Gold fruit. Then sell everything to Steve for millions. Gold + Lush + mutations = astronomical returns.

๐Ÿฅ”

Garden Horizons Potato Method results showing 4 Potato plants with Silver and Gold variants obtained in 10 minutes using the variant farming method with sprinklers

4 Potato plants โ€” all Silver and Gold variants farmed in just 10 minutes using the Potato Method

Potato

Why Potato is Best for This Method

  • โœ“On the ground โ€” easy to see, click, and delete individual fruits (trees are much harder)
  • โœ“Available in Bill's shop โ€” anyone can buy Potato seeds at 100,000 ๐Ÿ’ฐ (no seed packs needed)
  • โœ“Large base price โ€” high base value means variant multipliers produce massive returns
  • โœ“Fast regrow โ€” fruits pop back quickly, letting you cycle more deletions per sprinkler window

Also works with: Cherry, Plum, Mushroom, Strawberry, Rose, Apple โ€” any multi-harvest plant.

โš ๏ธ

Critical Warnings

  • !Check "Potato Fruit" vs "Potato Plant" before clicking โ€” deleting the PLANT destroys it permanently. Only delete the fruit.
  • !Stay away from valuable nearby trees โ€” one misclick on a Dawn Blossom tree with the Shovel = disaster.
  • !Don't click too fast โ€” the fruit needs a moment to properly register deletion. Use a slower, steady rhythm for reliable results.
