Nails are the first crafting material added to Garden Horizons, staged in the client for the Islands Update (~July 24, 2026). Datamined from `ExpansionDefinitions.ForgottenIsle.Onboarding.MaterialYield.Nails = 1`. Nails combine with Wood to repair Capt' Roger's boat and unlock passage to The Forgotten Isle. The exact gather tool is not yet confirmed — Machete, Knife, and Pickaxe were all added to the client `Plants.Tools.Items` folder alongside the island content, suggesting they are the intended harvest tools.

Strategy tip

You need 3 Nails to repair the boat. At a yield of 1 Nail per pickup, expect ~3-6 gathers per boat trip (assuming some misses). Stockpile Nails on the mainland before the update goes live — every trip back to the mainland to farm materials is a trip away from the higher-value island economy.
